Entry Door- Bejárati ajtó

Finally we got our entry door installed. Gave up on the arch on top of the door, it would have cost too much. Much to Noemi's regret, we had to "evict" the little sparrow chicks that had been living hidden in their nest above the arch:)

Végre megérkezett a bejárati ajtó. A felső ivről le kellett mondanunk, mert túl sokba került volna.Noémi legnagyobb bánatára, ki kellett "költöztetnünk" a kis verbfiókákat, amelyek az ajtónyilás feletti résben fészkeltek.

What is it like to live in a motorhome? Milyen is egy lakókocsiban lakni?

Since it takes a few days for the concrete to dry, I thought to "take a brake" and show you around in our little, cozy motor home :) Though Wayne is an expert when it comes to living or traveling in a motorhome, I had no idea what it was like, until we first were "introduced" to this guy. It's a 1985 36' Titan, and still running. Of course a lot of stuff have been replaced or changed in it. Until about 3 years ago, my parents-in-law used it, and as far as I heard, they had had some adventurous trips, as far as Alaska, British Columbia etc. Well, seems that after 20 years it was time for a change, so they bought a nice new Rexhall push-out giant, and we "inherited" the old one. As a new "homeowner" I had to learn how everything worked. By now I've been familiar with most of them...air conditioning, gas stove and oven, ceiling fans, shower and bathroom (well, that's kind of an exaggeration, since there's only a sink and a toilet...

We've moved in!! Beköltöztünk! :)

I can hardly believe that - even if it's still not official - we've moved in! I am way behind with posts, but here I am:) So I left off with some photos of the kitchen and master bedroom. As soon as we put a bed in the master bedroom early September 2014, we could finally move in. It felt like being newly weds, with just a bed and a chest of drawers there, but we were happy campers to sleep in a king size bed! :) Along with that I could also start using a bigger bathroom. Wayne figured it out that the propane tank could actually be hooked up on the gas line, so we had hot water in the bathroom. Since then we've finished the railings on both balconies, and some touch-up work in the kids' bathroom. My happiest moment, however, was when I could move in the kitchen! It happened in early January 2015. Oh boy, how long I had been waiting for that moment! Now I'm a happy owner of a nice, big kitchen. Some touch-up work still has to be done, but there's nothing bett...

We have windows, yay! - Végre megérkeztek az ablakok, hurrá! :)

So finally our windows are here, yay! The workers started with the windows on the second floor, so far they've installed the windows and the balcony door, the bathroom window on the second floor, and will be continuing with the rest of the windows there and then put in the windows on the first floor...Here are a few pictures...to be continued :) Végre megérkeztek az ablakok, hurrá! A munkások az emeleten kezdték el berakni az ablakokat, eddig sikerült a szülői hálóban levő ablakot, erkélyajtót, valamint a fürdőszobában levő ablakot berakni, jövő héten pedig folytatják a földszinten...Itt van néhány kép...folyt. köv.:) Artwork by our contractor:-) Vállalkozónk művészi alkotása:) Arch windows and balcony door on second floor - Ives ablakok és erkélyajtó az emeleten Same from inside - Ugyanaz belülről :) Bathroom windows - Fürdőszobai ablakok
